Projects with Youth
Besides being an artist, I am also an outdoor and environmental educator by profession. I strongly believe that art can be used as a powerful tool in environmental education to help both youth and adults explore and build their relationship with nature and the place that they live. I enjoy working with youth, and the work below represents a series of projects that I have facilitated with students ages Kindergarten-6th grade.
I am a registered artist on the the Alaska State Council on the Arts’ Statewide Teaching Artist Roster and am open to inquires about projects or collaborations in either formal or non-formal education settings. You can reach out to me at rainyrabbitart@gmail.com.
