Hand-Painted Jewelry

I have always loved the idea of jewelry, especially earrings, as a wearable art form that you can carry around with you and display every day. I also love making tiny things so my latest foray into jewelry making is this ongoing series of hand-painted earrings celebrating the flora, fauna, and landscapes of Alaska. The paintings are done with acrylic on wooden beads. I then assemble the earrings and add accent beads, some of which I make from upcycled fishing buoys.

You can find my earrings for sale at Resurrect Art in Seward, AK and at various craft bazaars in Fairbanks throughout the year. To inquire about purchasing my work please reach out to rainyrabbitart@gmail.com.
